What You’ll See Along the Way
Start at the Lake Barrine Teahouse & Carpark
Begin your walk just metres from the Lake Barrine Teahouse. The circuit track enters a lush rainforest canopy, offering an easy, family-friendly loop ideal for nature lovers and photographers.
Tip: Make sure your phone or camera is ready — you’ll want to capture the beautiful moments waiting along the trail.
Visit the Twin Kauris (First Highlight of the Track)
Only steps into the walk, you’ll reach the iconic Twin Kauri trees — two ancient giants rising high above the forest. It’s one of the best early photo spots on the Lake Barrine Circuit Track.
Tip: Look up at the massive trunks and take a family photo before continuing.
Walk Through Shaded Rainforest Paths
The trail leads through cool, shaded rainforest filled with ferns, palms, young kauris and ancient layers of vegetation surrounding the crater lake.
